WEB DESK, May 28, 2025: This year’s Hajj will commence on June 4, 2025 with the Day of Arafah falling on June 5. This also means that in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries, Eid-ul-Azha will be on June June 6.

Eid-ul-Azha is also a tradition commemorating the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). This Eid is marked by the ritual sacrifice of an animal, with the meat distributed among family, friends, and those in need, embodying the principles of charity and community.
Since the Islamic calendar dates are determined by the lunar cycles, in Pakistan the moon of Zillhaj was sighted today (May 28), which means that here the Eid will fall on June 7, 2025.
