A Saudi Arabian flight bound for Jeddah was forced to make an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) on Friday after a fire warning was detected mid-flight in one of the engines.

The pilot quickly alerted the Air Traffic Control (ATC) about the issue, making immediate clearance for an emergency landing. The aircraft was directed to runway 25-L, while the airport authorities rushed to activate emergency Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Thanks to the crew’s swift response and the airport’s readiness, the Saudi flight landing was carried out without any harm to the passengers. All onboard were safely offloaded once the plan landed.
