Islamabad, Mar 10, 2025: The exchange rate of the Saudi Riyal (SAR) against the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) remained stable in the open market, holding firm at Rs74.63 on Monday, March 10, 2025.
However, the selling price saw a slight uptick, with exchange companies quoting 1 SAR at Rs75.18, as per the Forex Association of Pakistan.
The Saudi Riyal (SAR) serves as the official currency of Saudi Arabia, with one Riyal further divided into 100 halalas.
SAR to PKR Exchange Rate Today
As of today, the Saudi Riyal is valued at Rs74.63 in the open market, meaning that 1,000 SAR can be converted to Rs74,630 in Pakistani currency.
A significant number of Pakistanis are employed and run businesses in Saudi Arabia, regularly sending remittances back home.

These inflows play a crucial role in strengthening Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves.
During January 2025, overseas Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia remitted a total of $728.3 million.
This marks a 5.5% decrease compared to the previous month but still represents a substantial 24% increase compared to the $587.4 million recorded in the same period last year.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia maintain robust economic relations, engaging in various collaborations across trade, investment, and financial sectors.
Their strong bilateral ties continue to support economic growth and stability for both nations.
