ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 14: The manufacturer notified the major bourse on Tuesday that Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW) will be launching the ORA-07 EV, a new imported Completely Built Unit (CBU) electric vehicle (EV), in the coming days.
With the ORA-07 EV, Sazgar’s market share in Pakistan’s EV market would increase. Sazgar is a subsidiary of Great Wall Motors (GWM), a major player in the Chinese car industry.
The vehicle is made to accommodate those who want front-wheel or four-wheel drive. It provides strong system outputs between 204 and 408 horsepower and up to 680 Nm of torque. The GT variant is notable for its remarkable acceleration, achieving a peak speed of 180 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time in under 4.5 seconds.
The ORA-07 EV has two battery options that vary in terms of capacity and range: an 83-kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery that can travel 354 miles, and a 64-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that can travel 273 miles. The car has a maximum charging capability of about 95 kW and allows quick DC charging.
The ORA-07 EV is a large vehicle. It has a wheelbase of 2.87 meters and is close to 5 meters in length, 1.86 meters in width, and 1.50 meters in height.
The car is around 2,183 kg in weight.
The ORA-07 EV has a similarly striking appearance, with a smooth body form, tiny round headlights, and retractable door handles on its sleek and contemporary exterior. The car’s interior features a digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, making for a high-tech and engaging driving experience.
