A major fraud appears to be emerging in Pakistan as three separate videos have gone viral on social media, each featuring a well-known figure apparently endorsing cryptocurrency investments.
One video shows a prominent Pakistani economist, another depicts a senior military officer, and the third features a high-ranking government official, all seemingly encouraging people to invest in a crypto-related scheme. However, investigations suggest the videos are fake and likely created using artificial intelligence (AI) to mimic the voices and appearances of these individuals.

In the videos, the figures appear to address audiences directly, urging Pakistanis, particularly young people and retired employees, to invest Rs. 70,000 to become members and allegedly earn up to Rs. 6 million per month through cryptocurrency ventures.
Authorities have warned that these videos are part of a coordinated scam designed to exploit public trust and lure citizens into fraudulent investment schemes.
