Islamabad, Jan 29: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) will be hosting the InsureImpact Conference Pakistan (ICP) 2025 on February 13, 2025, in Karachi. The overarching theme of the conference is “Journey to an Insured Pakistan – Fostering Collaboration, Engagement & Innovation.” This event will bring together federal and provincial ministers, senior government officials, policymakers, and experts from both the financial and insurance sectors.
The conference will feature a comprehensive agenda that includes discussions on key strategic areas such as:
- A holistic overview of the insurance ecosystem
- Stakeholder engagement in the insurance sector
- Addressing disaster and agricultural insurance in the context of climate change
- The expansion of mandatory insurance
- The potential of health insurance
- Advancing the vision of an insured Pakistan through digitalization, particularly by developing an optimal blueprint for digital insurance infrastructure
ICP 2025 aligns with SECP’s five-year Strategic Plan, “Journey to an Insured Pakistan,” which was introduced at a similar conference in December 2023. This initiative aims to foster collaboration among all stakeholders in the insurance sector and drive meaningful progress towards creating an inclusive and innovative insurance landscape by 2028.
The conference will serve as a platform for engagement, consensus-building, and strengthening cooperation to realize the vision of a dynamic, fully insured Pakistan.
