Islamabad, Oct 16: Sharjah plan to give health insurance to all his residentials
His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, and Ruler of Sharjah has declared his willingness to provide all citizens of Sharjah with a universal health insurance coverage.
Speaking on a telephone in a sponsored ‘Direct Line’ program by Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, the Ruler said that the government is committed to rehabilitate this sector as the costs are high.
“One day we got an offer to give a fully retail health insurance coverage for all the people living in Sharjah. I informed them that if it is possible, then we would go forward with it. Naturally, we will achieve this goal,” he said, being optimistic that this endeavour would be realized in the near future.
“This is why it is our duty to make sure that residents have full welfare and happiness in life besides protecting them, their children as well as the elderly,” He noted.
