Islamabad, 27 May 2025: Shark Tank Pakistan is heading into its second season with major changes to its judging panel and operational approach, aiming to restore confidence and integrity in the popular investment show.

Only one judge from the original cast seasoned investor Faisal Aftab is expected to make a return, according to sources familiar with the production. This significant overhaul is part of a broader reassessment following the mixed outcomes of Season 1.

The decision to reshuffle the panel was driven by internal evaluations that highlighted gaps in due diligence, lack of follow-through on promised investments, and the growing concern that some participants had focused more on personal branding than genuine startup support.

These findings prompted producers to design a more accountable structure for Season 2 of Shark Tank Pakistan, aiming to safeguard the interests of both entrepreneurs and viewers.

While the show’s debut season brought crucial exposure to Pakistan’s startup culture, not all televised deals turned into reality. Insiders revealed that some judges disengaged after filming, citing lengthy due diligence as a reason, or simply vanished from post-show negotiations.

This time, the team behind Shark Tank Pakistan plans to introduce a panel of investors who bring both credibility and a firm commitment to mentorship and funding.
