Islamabad, 14 May, 2025:  Sikandar Raza has clarified that he will continue to be part of PSL 10, putting to rest speculation about his potential absence from the remainder of the tournament.

The Zimbabwean cricketer took to Instagram on Wednesday, posting a picture in Lahore Qalandars’ kit with the caption, “Aa raha hoon In Sha Allah” (I’m coming, God willing), indicating his availability for the upcoming fixtures.

Reports earlier this week had suggested that Raza might miss the rest of the season due to Zimbabwe’s home Test series starting May 22.

However, his social media post has dispelled those claims, confirming his intention to see out the PSL season with Lahore.

Raza has been in fine form during PSL 10, having scored 228 runs in nine matches at an average of 45.60 and a strike rate of 162.85. His performance includes two fifties.

With the ball, he has contributed with eight wickets at an average of 15.25 and an economy rate of just over seven.

The PSL is set to resume on May 17 after a brief suspension caused by geopolitical tensions in the region. Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will kick off the restart in Rawalpindi.

Lahore Qalandars are currently placed fourth on the table with nine points from nine games. They have won four matches, lost four, and one game ended with no result due to rain.

With the playoffs in sight, Raza’s return comes as a timely boost for the Shaheen Afridi-led side, who will face Peshawar Zalmi on May 19 in Rawalpindi.

The final will take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on May 25.
