Islamabad, Oct 21: Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah Invites Argentina Football Team to Lyari
Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh, has invited the Argentina football team to come to Lyari, a neighborhood in Karachi that is well-known for its intense football culture.
Discussions on enhancing bilateral ties between Sindh and Argentina were held at a meeting with Sebastian Sayus, the Argentine ambassador. As to the statement provided by the Chief Minister’s office, an agreement was reached for Argentine investors to visit Sindh shortly and interact with pertinent departments.
The Chief Minister, Shah, emphasized the profitable investment potential in the water projects in Karachi. He said the World Bank had given the Sindh government $50 million for projects that would remediate saline water. He urged private financiers to take part in the seawater treatment process for metropolitan supply.
According to Ambassador Sayus, Argentine stock market corporations are considering making investments in Sindh, specifically in the form of storage establishments. The Chief Minister gave the departments of Food, Investment, and Irrigation instructions to communicate with the embassy of Argentina.
The Chief Minister Shah invited the Argentina football team to the Kakri Ground in Lyari in an effort to promote cultural and athletic links.
During the conference, it was resolved to develop a football squad in Sindh in addition to investment projects. Important players from the Argentine national team would play in training matches in Lyari.
