The Sindh government has announced the second phase of providing Pink Scooties for women.

Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that the Sindh government is about to launch the second phase of the Pink Scooties program for women. He appealed to women to obtain a driving license, participate in training courses, and register for the second phase of the Pink Scooties program.

He added that the Transport Department is providing free training and free licenses to women. The provision of scooties to students and working women aims to help them overcome daily travel challenges.

Sharjeel Memon said that the first phase of the Pink Scooties program received an extraordinary response from the public, with dozens of women learning to drive, obtaining licenses, and using the scooties for their daily activities. The Sindh government wants as many women as possible to benefit from this facility and continue their educational and professional journeys safely and with dignity.

The senior minister further said that projects like Peoples Bus Service, Pink Bus Service, Electric Bus Service, and now Pink Scooties aim to provide citizens with affordable, safe, and dignified travel facilities. Empowering women socially and economically is not just a government project but part of the political and humanitarian philosophy of the Pakistan Peoples Party.

He added that empowering women is a central pillar of the ideological journey of the Pakistan Peoples Party, and this mission continues the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
