Islamabad, Aug 6, 2025: The Sindh Government has issued a strong warning to all officers and staff using official vehicles, ordering them to immediately stop illegal changes made to government-assigned cars.

According to a circular dated August 5, 2025, many officers are reportedly using fake or fancy number plates, tinted windows, and unlawful hooters or sirens. The notification notes that such actions break official rules and damage the public’s trust in government institutions.

All departments have been told to make sure these violations are fixed within seven days. Officers found with unauthorized modifications after the deadline will be suspended without further notice. Departmental action will also be taken under the relevant rules.

“No excuse or exception will be accepted,” the notification states clearly.
