Islamabad, 29 Apr, 2025: The Sindh government has confirmed plans to Hire 90,000 Teachers as part of a wide-ranging strategy to strengthen the province’s education system.
This decision follows the earlier recruitment of 83,000 educators aimed at addressing critical staffing shortages across public schools.
Sardar Ali Shah, Sindh’s Education Minister, revealed that the province is making substantial investments in education by significantly enlarging its teaching staff.

In a recent briefing with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the minister outlined the department’s recent progress and shared that appointment letters are currently being issued to candidates who successfully passed the IBA-conducted examination.
The education minister emphasised that the recruitment drive has already brought noticeable improvements to teaching quality throughout Sindh’s schools.
He noted that new appointments are playing a pivotal role in enhancing the standard of instruction and ensuring that students receive better academic support.
During discussions with party leadership, attention was also drawn to efforts underway to upgrade educational facilities across the province.
The Sindh government is focusing on modernising school infrastructure, enhancing learning environments, and providing essential amenities to create more conducive spaces for students and teachers alike.
Officials maintain that the initiative to Hire 90,000 Teachers is part of a broader commitment to prioritise education reform in Sindh.
