Islamabad, Mar 15, 2025: The Sindh Assembly has officially sanctioned the Sindh Motor Vehicle Tax Amendment Bill and the Sindh Criminal Prosecution Services Bill, reinforcing regulatory measures in the province.
While introducing the Sindh Motor Vehicle Tax Amendment Bill, legislator Mukesh Kumar Chawla pointed out that numerous commercial automobiles were inaccurately registered as private, resulting in a substantial decline in government revenue
. He stressed the necessity of categorizing commercial vehicles correctly to curb misclassification and boost state earnings.
