It is the government’s decision to prohibit individuals from selecting their license plate numbers. It is no longer possible to choose particular letter or number combinations from either the current or upcoming plate series.Plate numbers will now be assigned according to the application order.
Whoever applies first receives the next available number, sort of like a queue. Both government and private automobiles must abide with this regulation.Premium plates with distinctive numbers or letters are an exception, for which consumers may have to pay more. But you can’t just ask for a premium plate. The government will make public an application procedure that is distinct for these unique license plates.
