After Karachi received such disastrous rainfall, the provincial government of Sindh has raised an alarm. The metropolis was reported to have received almost 200 millimeters of rain in a couple of hours and that was a cause of panic. The citizens are highly encouraged to keep at home unless necessary because local authorities are on high alert.

Low-lying areas and flood prone areas are being monitored by the emergency services to ensure that no serious disturbances are caused.
