Islamabad, May 24, 2025: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, has affirmed that the government is committed to provide all necessary facilities to Hajj pilgrims this year to ensure a smooth journey from start to finish.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Sardar Yousaf said that during his official visit to Saudi Arabia he had a meeting with the Saudi Minister of Hajj where he discussed necessary measures to be taken.
The minister said under the private scheme, 25,698 pilgrims will go to the holy Hajj this year. However, he further added the private sector has not taken timely measures for the preparation of pilgrims going on holy journey.

According to Federal Minister, the Saudi government had instructed the private sector to deposit 25% of the funds by February 14. However, he noted that due to negligence and administrative shortcomings on the part of some private organizers, some will not be able to perform Hajj this year.
