The water level at Khanpur Dam, located on the Haro River, has reached 1981.55 feet, just below its maximum capacity of 1982 feet.
Authorities have decided to begin a spillway operation today at 5:00 PM to manage the rising water.
As the spillways open, an increase in water flow is expected in the Haro River.
Safety Advisory Residents living near the riverbanks are advised to take precautionary measures and strictly follow instructions issued by local authorities to ensure their safety.
