Spotify has announced updates to its Terms of Use, which will take effect on September 26, 2025, for existing users. The revised Terms aim to provide greater clarity about user rights and service policies.

Among the key updates, Spotify has clarified that users can only access the version of the service available in their country of residence, at the applicable price. The company has also outlined clearer guidelines on subscription billing and cancellation processes.

In addition, the new Terms provide more information on how users can post and share content, along with detailed insights into Spotify’s content policies, practices, and personalized recommendations. For easier navigation, Spotify has included links to important user policies and guidelines.
