Islamabad, Aug 23: The screening exam for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2023, which was held on August 10, 2024, has been deemed void by the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC).
This choice was made during a review meeting on Thursday, during which it was found that very few candidates had the necessary 50% passing score.
At a meeting held at its regional headquarters in Karachi on August 22, 2024, SPSC discussed the ramifications of the most recent test results. In the next rounds of the examination process, the commission expressed concerns that there would not be enough suitable individuals to fill the vacant posts if the results were not reversed.
The SPSC has declared that the CCE-2023 Screening Test will be rescheduled in order to address the problem. In order to pass the rescheduled exam and achieve the necessary requirements, the commission has advised all applicants to step up their preparation.
27,060 candidates applied for the first test, which was held at examination centers in Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, and Karachi to accommodate the students. The SPSC decided to retake the screening exam in order to give every applicant an equal opportunity to fulfill the requirements and guarantee a thorough selection procedure.
