Islamabad, Apr 10, 2025: Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has unveiled a revised gas supply timetable for Quetta to guarantee steady and high-pressure gas delivery throughout the summer.
This new plan is designed to assist residents in efficiently managing their cooking and daily activities.
As per the updated schedule, gas will be available from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, with a temporary suspension of supply between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
In other news, Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) has made a major oil and gas discovery at the Spinwam-1 Well, situated in the Karghar Formation of North Waziristan.

Furthermore, A company representative confirmed that the well is currently yielding 20.48 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMCFD) along with 117 barrels of oil each day.
This discovery marks the second successful find from this well.
This breakthrough is expected to significantly reduce the nation’s energy shortfall and support the rising energy demands of the country.
Previously, in July 2024, MPCL reported a successful natural gas extraction from five wells in Sindh.
However, the gas produced at the Ghazij Gas Field is now being transferred to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), further enhancing Pakistan’s energy infrastructure.
