Islamabad, Dec 6: Despite a lack of personnel in the Project Management Unit (PMU), the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) is taking action to maintain the Rawalpindi Ring Road project on schedule. The PMU has not been shut down, and steps are being taken to guarantee that the project proceeds without any delays, Director General Kinza Murtaza explained.
Three high-ranking individuals, including an administrative official, an environment specialist, and a financial expert, left the PMU last month. The RDA has responded by appointing officials to cover these positions temporarily. This guarantees that the project’s vital tasks won’t be interrupted.
RDA officers have been given responsibilities. This will assist in efficiently managing the project and avoiding any delays. By taking these preemptive measures, we hope to guarantee the Ring Road project’s prompt completion, which is essential for enhancing Rawalpindi’s infrastructure and easing traffic.
Kinza Murtaza underlined that RDA leadership is fully committed to and supportive of the project’s progress. One of the most important projects to improve connectivity and alleviate traffic in the area is still the Rawalpindi Ring Road.
