Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the DAAD Helmut Schmidt Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with above-average grades
- Have graduated after January 1, 2019
- Possess relevant experience (work, internship, social/political work)
- Show strong commitment to home country development
- Provide proof of English proficiency
- Not reside in a non-DAC country for more than 15 months before applying
