Islamabad, July 17, 2025: The Dutch Government has opened applications for the 2025 Holland Scholarship, offering international students a €5,000 grant for their first year of study in the Netherlands.
This scholarship is for those who plan to study full-time in either a bachelor’s or master’s program at selected Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences.
Funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science along with top universities across the Netherlands, this award helps ease the financial burden for students planning to study in Europe.
What’s Included?
The €5,000 grant is awarded once in the first year of your study. Please note: this is not a full scholarship. It does not cover tuition or living costs entirely, but it can help with early expenses such as travel, accommodation, or books.
Who Can Apply?
You can apply for this scholarship if:
- You are not from an EU/EEA country
- You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree
- You don’t already hold a degree from any Dutch institution
- You meet the entry requirements of the university you are applying to
