Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) recorded production of 6,238 units of Alto after 32 weeks.
The last time company produced more units of its popular entry level hatchback was back in December 2022, nearly three years ago, according to a note by brokerage house Topline Securities.
This comes despite the rise in taxes from July 1, 2025, which was expected to weigh on demand, the brokerage house noted.

Bloom reported earlier that Suzuki sold 4,193 Altos in August 2025, a 107% increase from 2,023 units in the same month last year, and 80% higher than 2,327 units sold in July.
