Systems Limited Acquires British American Tobacco SAA Services (Pvt) Ltd Islamabad, 30 July: Pakistan’s largest listed software company, Systems Limited (SYS), is set to acquire British American Tobacco SAA Services (Pvt) Ltd from BAT International (UK), the company disclosed in a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The acquisition targets a company that delivers IT-led shared services across key business functions including marketing, human resources, finance, and procurement—capabilities that align closely with SYS’s strategic focus on business process outsourcing (BPO).
In a related development, Techvista Systems (UAE), an associated company of SYS, has entered into a multi-year Master Services Agreement with Accenture (UK). Under the agreement, Techvista will provide AI-powered global shared services using the newly acquired BAT platform as a foundation.

The twin developments mark a significant move by Systems Limited to expand its global footprint and enhance its BPO and digital services capabilities. Market reaction was swift, with the KSE-100 Index surging by 800 points during Wednesday morning trade. Systems Limited alone contributed nearly 287 points to the index’s gains, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.
