Tamar Braxton is getting herself out of a scary near-death experience. In the latest Instagram Stories post that the 48-year-old singer made on Tuesday, Aug. 19, I had a very bad accident this weekend and am so very hurt and close to losing my life.
“I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can’t even really talk anymore I’m so weak,” she shared. “I almost died Sunday. I was located in a pool of blood by my friend with a face injury.”
Braxton said she broke her nose, lost a few teeth and she is experiencing impaired mobility. The worse that gets the more days have gone by. Now I have an entirely different view on life, she commented, saying that although the physical part of her recovery has just started indeed, it is gradually progressing.
After her post, she tweeted a verse in Proverbs 31 about very powerful women and earlier that morning she tweeted how thankful she was to wake up.

The artist, who was nominated during the Grammy Awards, had been planning her current tour as recently as her first appearance on The Braxtons on WEtv with her sisters. In March she announced upcoming stronger performances and new setlist to her fans with the emphasis on the body and voice.
In spite of this humiliation, the fans are being supportive to Braxton by loving and praying over her. At the end of the update, she requested the people to continue supporting her in the recovery. Tamar Braxton is injured but she aims at recovery and taking life positively.
