The Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) has threatened to boycott the upcoming inter-board assessment if teachers’ pending arrears are not cleared by September 6.

Despite repeated assurances from the Karachi Higher Secondary Education Board, the arrears for 2024 remain unpaid.

SPLA Central President Munawar Abbas, along with other leaders, stated in a joint press release that the bills for examination centers, pre-calculus assessments, and supplementary exams—including those held last year—are still pending.

The association emphasized that teachers will not participate in assessment duties unless immediate payments are made, warning that any delay will directly affect the inter-board assessment process.
