The 200 Million User Mark is a significant benchmark, not only for telecom growth but also for national digital integration.
To mark the occasion, the PTA has partnered with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Mobile Device Manufacturers (MDMs) to launch public-friendly initiatives.
On the day of the celebration, MNOs are expected to provide free internet data and voice call packages to users across the country a move aimed at acknowledging public participation in reaching the 200 Million User Mark.
In a further push toward digital inclusion, PTA has invited mobile manufacturers to contribute 10 to 15 mid-tier smartphones for distribution through a lucky draw at the event.
