Islamabad, June 25, 2025: Texas Super Kings come back in Texas Super Kings vs LA Knight Riders fixture by scoring a convincing 52-run win over LA Knight Riders in Dallas. Despite the venue favoring teams batting second this season, LAKR hesitate early in run chase of a 197 target, finishing with only 144/7.
LAKR began promisingly after choosing to bowl, even as Faf du Plessis hit three early boundaries. However, his brisk start was cut short by Shadley van Schalkwyk, who also dismissed Saiteja Mukkamalla and Marcus Stoinis in successive balls, reducing TSK to 33/3.
Shubham Ranjane took charge from there, ending the powerplay with a pair of fours. While Smit Patel struggled to accelerate, Ranjane kept the scoreboard ticking. Patel later struck a couple of boundaries but was soon dismissed by Andre Russell. Ranjane then found support in Donovan Ferreira, and the pair counter-attacked during the final overs.
Van Schalkwyk’s tidy spell was undone as Ranjane and Ferreira hit him for three maximums in one over. Ferreira’s aggressive 43 ended via a run out, and Ranjane was bowled for a well-made 70 by Ali Khan in the same over. Their dismissals slowed TSK slightly, but the total proved more than enough.

Badar fell to Stoinis, while Ferreira bowled Chand with his very first delivery. Noor Ahmad shattered Sherfane Rutherford’s stumps before dismissing Russell, whose brief and unconvincing knock summed up LAKR’s evening.
As wickets fell steadily, the chase never gained momentum. TSK’s disciplined bowling ensured the match ended one-sided, with the Knight Riders falling without a real fight.
