Islamabad, July 16, 2025: The third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is set to premiere on July 16, 2025 on Prime Video.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is a transitional romantic drama series created by Jenny Han, who also wrote the original book trilogy and serves as the show’s writer and executive producer. The series is directed by Erica Dunton, Jeff Chan, Jesse Peretz and others with a focus on themes of heartbreak, personal growth and the emotional burden relationships.

The story around Belly Conklin, a teenage girl who spends every summer at Cousins Beach with her mother and her mother’s best friend Susannah along with Susannah’s two sons, Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. Conrad is the quiet, emotionally guarded older brother struggling with family expectations and emotional distance. Jeremiah is the outgoing, light hearted and care free younger brother always gentle and open with his feelings.

Belly’s relationship with both transitions as the summer forwards, forcing her to navigate complicated feelings. Taylor Swift’s music continues to be a key emotional backdrop in the show, with tracks like “Don’t Blame Me” and “Midnight Rain” used in crucial scenes. Jenny Han personally requested song rights from Swift to support the emotional beats of the story.
