With outstanding 9.587 million NEVs produced and 9.495 million sold in 2023, China boasted year-over-year growth rates of 35.8% and 37.9%, respectively. China has led the world NEV market for nine years running thanks to this amazing accomplishment. Even more astounding, its NEV sales currently account for 31.6% of global car sales.
With year-over-year growth rates of 30.7% and 32.5%, respectively, China manufactured 3.926 million NEVs and sold 3.895 million in the first five months of this year alone. The momentum is still strong.
