New York, August 21, 2025 — Gossip Girl star Thomas Doherty is set to make his New York stage debut this fall in the hit Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors. The Scottish actor, best known for HBO Max’s Gossip Girl reboot and Disney’s Descendants, will step into the role of Seymour beginning September 5, 2025.

Doherty, who has also appeared in Paradise, Tell Me Lies, Catherine the Great, The Invitation, and Girls5Eva, expressed excitement over joining the production. “Little Shop of Horrors was the first-ever show I did as a child back in Edinburgh, so to be doing it now in New York City—alongside the incredibly talented Madeline Brewer—is a real dream,” he said in a statement.
