Islamabad, June 3, 2025: TikTok has resumed normal functioning after several hours of technical disruption earlier today. The globally used short-video platform began facing irregularities around 8 AM Pakistan Standard Time, as reported by numerous users across the country and abroad.
Despite partial usability, many users struggled to access certain features. Reports from Reddit, Twitter, Bluesky, and outage tracking website DownDetector verified the ongoing issues.
Although users could watch videos through the mobile app, they encountered difficulties in switching between accounts or reading comment sections. Some even feared they had been suspended due to the errors.
Visitors attempting to use TikTok’s official website or support pages were met with a message reading, “An error occurred while processing your request,” along with a reference code. Users also faced trouble when logging in.
