Applications are now open for the Tokyo Global Partner Scholarship Program in Japan 2026, offering students a fully funded opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies at Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU).
The scholarship covers tuition fees, admission costs, international airfare, and a monthly stipend of 150,000 JPY. Students from all countries are eligible, and no IELTS is required. The application deadline is October 10, 2025.
The scholarship is awarded to high-achieving students committed to collaboration and innovation, supporting research and education in Tokyo and beyond.
Eligible applicants include those enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s programs at TMU partner institutions, sister cities of Tokyo, or other Asian regions. Applicants working in research institutions, government organizations or companies in these locations are also eligible.
