Islamabad 4 August: The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has secured a $3.24 million export order for frozen boneless beef to Tajikistan, marking a significant boost to Pakistan’s growing halal meat export sector.
In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), TOMCL confirmed that the contract involves the supply of frozen boneless beef over the next six months, reflecting continued demand for Pakistan’s processed meat in Central Asian markets.
“This contract demonstrates our strong position in the global halal meat market and our ability to meet international quality standards,” TOMCL said in the announcement.
The deal comes amid rising exports of meat and meat products from Pakistan, particularly to the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia, where demand for halal-certified products continues to grow.

TOMCL, known for its export-grade slaughterhouse facilities, has been expanding its footprint across international markets. The company already exports to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait and now sees Central Asia as a promising region due to lower logistical costs and untapped market potential.
Industry analysts believe that such contracts could help Pakistan diversify its export portfolio, reduce reliance on traditional textile and rice sectors, and position itself as a key halal protein supplier globally.
TOMCL plans to fulfill the Tajikistan order by leveraging its automated processing facilities and cold chain logistics network, ensuring compliance with international health and safety standards.
