The Government of Pakistan has launched an official student visit to Türkiye for top-performing Matric students across all boards, according to a circular from the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC). This initiative aims to honor academic excellence while promoting cultural and educational exposure for young achievers.
Organized by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, the program enables students from various Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) to travel to Türkiye using official passports.
Eligibility Criteria for Participants
According to the advisory, students must meet certain requirements to participate:
- Obtain a medical certificate from a government hospital confirming fitness for international travel.
- Provide written approval from parents or guardians permitting participation.
- Students must bring two sets of white shalwar kameez with shoes; a green blazer will be provided by the ministry.
- Only one shoulder bag is allowed; laptops, cameras, and electronic devices are prohibited.
- Emergency contact details of parents or guardians must be submitted in advance.
Additionally, the IBCC has instructed that transportation costs for pick-up and drop-off will be covered by the respective BISEs.
Deadline for Submission of Documents
All BISEs are required to forward passports and necessary documents of selected students to the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad by September 19, 2025, to ensure timely processing and coordination with relevant authorities.
