Islamabad, Feb 11: Toyota has announced a recall of 106,061 vehicles in the United States due to a potential brake fluid leak. The recall, confirmed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Tuesday, affects specific 2024-2025 models of the Toyota Tacoma four-wheel drive.
The issue stems from insufficient clearance between the rear brake hose and the wheel, which can allow mud and dirt to accumulate. Over time, this buildup may damage the brake hose, leading to a brake fluid leak. A leak in the brake fluid can compromise braking efficiency, increasing the risk of accidents.
