On Monday, Toyota Indus Motors Company Limited (PSX: INDU) informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange of its decision to temporarily suspend operations at its production facility from October 29 to October 31, 2024, inclusive.
According to the company, persistent supply chain disruptions and low inventory levels of raw materials and components have created a shortage of parts required for vehicle production. As a result, the company is currently unable to meet its production requirements.
“Consequently, the Company has decided to temporarily suspend operations at its production plant from October 29, 2024, to October 31, 2024, both days inclusive,” the filing stated.
