Islamabad, Jan 26: Students from Turbat University in Balochistan’s Kech district have made a remarkable achievement with the creation of an advanced mobile application called Shanakht, designed specifically for local law enforcement. This app empowers the district police with swift, in-depth access to vital information about suspects and fugitives, making it a key tool for enhancing crime prevention efforts and speeding up offender identification.
The innovative app was meticulously developed over the course of four months, addressing the unique needs of the police force in the district. It enables officers to quickly retrieve crucial data about individuals involved in criminal activities, significantly improving the efficiency of investigations and increasing the likelihood of successful arrests.

Upon the app’s completion, it was officially handed over to the District Kech Police, where it is expected to have a lasting impact on policing practices.
