Islamabad, Apr 30, 2025: The Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan, Dr. Irfan Neziroglu, inaugurated the “Anadolu Creator Lab” at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) on Wednesday, reaffirming Türkiye’s strong resolve to deepen educational and tech-based cooperation with Pakistan.
The advanced facility, located within the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP), has been established with assistance from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
The lab aims to encourage cutting-edge research and promote innovation across disciplines including artificial intelligence, robotics, electronics, programming, and creative design.
While speaking at the launch event, Dr. Neziroglu emphasized the value of this collaborative step.
“The Anadolu Creator Lab marks a crucial milestone in our mutual goal of scientific progress. It will provide students and innovators with the tools and environment to develop ideas, create prototypes, and push the boundaries of modern technology,” he remarked.
Also in attendance were Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, NUST Rector Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, and the Ambassador of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, along with students and faculty members.

Dr. Neziroglu further highlighted TIKA’s expanding role in Pakistan’s higher education sector. He shared that in the past year alone, the agency had launched several impactful projects, including quantum physics labs, advanced digital media centers, and biodiversity research facilities across premier Pakistani institutions.
“These initiatives reflect TIKA’s ongoing mission to uplift Pakistani youth through quality scientific resources,” he added. “They also mirror the historic and ever-strong bond shared by our two nations.”
He went on to describe the Türkiye–Pakistan relationship as a model of unwavering friendship.
“Our ties have remained strong for over 78 years—built on mutual respect, shared values, and brotherhood. We rejoice in each other’s achievements and support one another in times of difficulty,” he stated.
Dr. Neziroglu also expressed gratitude toward Pakistani officials and TIKA representatives for their steadfast support in making the lab a reality, stressing the importance of continuing such bilateral efforts in education and technology.
