Islamabad, Mar 11 2025: If you’re encountering difficulties accessing Twitter/X Disrupted in Pakistan and Other Countries, you’re not alone.
The platform is experiencing widespread disruptions across Pakistan, as confirmed by Downdetector, which recorded a surge in outage reports around 1:45 PM Pakistan time.
According to Downdetector, the problem isn’t confined to Pakistan it’s affecting multiple regions worldwide. The outage appears to be linked to what X owner Elon Musk recently described as “massive cyberattacks.”

On Monday, Musk disclosed that while the platform routinely faces hacking attempts, this particular incident was on a much larger scale. Twitter/X Disrupted in Pakistan and Other Countries.
He speculated that the attack was either orchestrated by a well-organized group or possibly a nation-state, and investigations were already underway.
Cyberattack Speculations and Global Impact
During a Fox Business interview on Monday, Musk claimed that the attackers’ IP addresses were traced back to the Ukraine region, though he did not provide additional specifics.
However, cybersecurity analysts quickly pointed out that an IP address alone doesn’t confirm the true origin of an attack. Security expert Kevin Beaumont, commenting on Bluesky, clarified that the involved IPs were not solely from Ukraine but were part of a globally distributed network.
When Will X Services Be Restored?
At this point, there is no official update on when normal service will resume. Users may have to wait until X or Musk provides further clarification, or until the platform stabilizes on its own.
