ISLAMABAD, JULY19: At two key places in the city, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) intends to build amusement parks.
These amusement centers will be built at Racecourse Park and Greater Iqbal Park.The new entertainment parks would be joint ventures between the PHA and the private sector, according to PHA Director General Muhammad Tahir Wattoo. Families, with kids in particular, will have access to a variety of indoor and outdoor entertainment options from them.
The DG said on Thursday that the parks, which would have rides, performances, and themed sections, are expected to draw millions of tourists each year and greatly increase the PHA’s earnings.
