Haball and PostEx are two Pakistani startups that were included in the Forbes Asia 100 To Watch 2025 list of startups, as part of the rising entrepreneurial landscape in the country. The fifth annual list by Forbes presents emerging companies and small businesses in the Asia-Pacific region with the focus on innovation in the areas of finance, logistics, and e-commerce.
Haball is a Shariah-compliant supply chain financing and payment provider of Pakistani businesses founded in 2017, headed by Omer Bin Ahsan. It offers digital invoicing, tax compliance as well as working capital assistance. The company has enabled more than 3 billion dollar transactions and has raised $52 million in pre-series A financing in April this year including 5 million in Zayn VC equity.
PostEx is a Karachi-based start-up that was established in 2020 and is headed by the CEO Muhammad Omer Khan. It was originally a delivery company but currently, it serves e-commerce sellers by offering advance cash payments in the course of logistics. In 2022, PostEx acquired Call Courier and became the largest e-commerce courier in Pakistan and in 2022, Raised $7.3 million to move into the Middle East.

The recognition, which the US- and Cayman-based early-stage fund Zayn VC is behind both startups, joyously announced on LinkedIn, making it the second year in a row that its portfolio companies featured on the Forbes Asia 100 To Watch list. This highlights the fact that Pakistani startups are gaining momentum all over the world.
The recognition in Forbes Asia 100 To Watch lists Haball and PostEx as one of the most promising ventures in the Asia-Pacific region which is characterized by high interest of investors and potential growth of the business.
