Islamabad, 6 May, 2025: Authorities in Punjab have arrested two private school officials in separate incidents involving serious allegations of sexual abuse.

In the latest case, police detained a schoolteacher named Zeeshan in Nawan Kot after a male student alerted his family about repeated assaults.

Investigators reported that Zeeshan not only abused multiple students but also filmed the acts using his mobile phone.

Police recovered explicit videos during the arrest and launched further raids after registering a case against him and his accomplices.

Separately, in Mirza Virkan area of Sheikhupura, police arrested Arsalan, the principal of Noor-ul-Huda School, following complaints from students.

The investigation began after videos of victims were widely shared on social media and WhatsApp. During the raid, officers recovered approximately 150 explicit recordings.

Police said Arsalan had been sexually exploiting students and teachers, recording the abuse using hidden cameras and CCTV.

He allegedly used the footage to blackmail victims and admitted to distributing the material abroad.

A first information report (FIR) has been filed, and the accused has confessed to the crimes during interrogation.

In response, the Chief Education Officer has ordered the closure of the school pending the outcome of the investigation.

These incidents have sparked outrage among parents and civil society groups, raising serious concerns about student safety in private educational institutions.

Rights activists have called for tighter regulation and background checks in schools to prevent such cases.

Both investigations remain ongoing as authorities work to determine the full extent of the abuse and whether more victims or accomplices are involved.
