Islamabad, Mar 29, 2025: As the sacred month of Ramadan approaches its conclusion, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is preparing for the imminent celebration of Eid Al Fitr.
The official prayer timings are set to be announced on Saturday, March 29, by the moon-sighting committee. Traditionally, Eid prayers occur approximately 15 to 20 minutes post-sunrise.
Preliminary estimates suggest that Eid prayers will commence at 6:20 AM in Dubai, 6:19 AM in Sharjah and Ajman, and 6:22 AM in Abu Dhabi, based on the anticipated official schedule.
These timings are provisional and await confirmation from the authorities.
To accommodate the influx of worshippers, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) has readied over 680 mosques and prayer spaces throughout Dubai.

This includes 14 expansive prayer grounds in strategic locations and 668 smaller mosques within residential areas to facilitate ease of access and reduce congestion.
Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director-General of IACAD, highlighted that specialized teams have devised a comprehensive plan in collaboration with governmental bodies and volunteers.
This initiative aims to manage crowd flow efficiently, ensure seamless entry and exit, and provide support to the elderly and individuals with special needs.
As the UAE awaits the final announcement, the community’s preparations underscore the significance of Eid Al Fitr, a time marked by unity, reflection, and communal harmony.
