Islamabad, Feb 15: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has broadened its visa-on-arrival policy for Indian passport holders, allowing more travelers to enter the country with ease. Starting February 13, 2025, Indian nationals holding valid visas or residency permits from six additional countries will be eligible for this facility.
Expanded List of Eligible Countries
Previously, the visa-on-arrival option was available only to Indian passport holders with valid documentation from the United States, the United Kingdom, and European Union countries. Now, the policy includes travelers with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from:
Singapore
Japan
South Korea
Australia
New Zealand
Canada
Entry Requirements for Indian Travelers
To avail of the visa-on-arrival facility, travelers must:
Hold a passport valid for at least six months.
Possess a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from the eligible countries.
Pay the required visa fees in accordance with UAE regulations.
