Islamabad, July 12, 2025: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has received an important assurance from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to help make visa process easier for Pakistani citizens during his official trip to Abu Dhabi.

Naqvi held a meeting with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where they talked about several matters between the two nations. The Pakistani minister pointed out the problems Pakistanis face, especially in getting work visas and other types of permits.

“We want Pakistani citizens to come to the UAE with ease,” Naqvi said during the discussion, saying that relaxed visa rules would be helpful for both countries. In reply, Sheikh Saif promised complete support in solving these issues and said he would find ways to make the process smoother.

The meeting showed the strong ties between Pakistan and the UAE and confirmed both sides want to improve their partnership, especially in areas like immigration, safety, and anti-drug operations.

Naqvi also visited the Abu Dhabi Police operations center, where he learned about modern monitoring and law enforcement systems. He showed interest in introducing similar technology in Pakistan.

He ended his visit by calling the Pakistan-UAE friendship an important asset and underlined the need to grow cooperation, especially in areas that help citizens directly, like visa help.
