Islamabad, Aug 12, 2025: UFC 319 comes back to the United Center in Chicago after more than half a decade, and serves up a pay-per-view card that is a real blockbuster. The headliner sees middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis make the first defense of his gold of the undefeated upstart Khamzat Chimaev, who many said the moment prominence he first appeared at Fight Island.
The card features some hot matchups in addition to the headline fight and it is one of the more competitive fight nights of the year. Du Plessis the South African champion keeps on proving his dominance in every win. He defended his championship earlier this year by putting in the work against a former champ in Sean Strickland in a rematch.
Chimaev, who is undefeated in his fight career, on the other hand secured this title shot UFC last October by dominantly submitting Robert Whittaker, cementing his status among elite. The UFC 319 is an important fight to both fighters and it will define their destinies in future.

UFC 319 has all the makings of a night of great fights, as Du Plessis becomes the favorite in his defense of his middleweight championship against the Chimaev onslaught.
