Islamabad, Sep 10: Temperatures plummet as Uk Arctic blast weather is predicted. Forecasters estimate that from Wednesday to Friday of next week, London will rarely see temperatures above 15C, following a week in which most days peaked at roughly 20C.By the end of the week, overnight temperatures might drop as low as 4C, according to BBC Weather.
The Mail adds that on Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a “Uk Arctic blast,” which will bring with it cold temperatures and more rain. “As we go through into Tuesday and Wednesday and beyond, we will start to see even cooler air begin to move in from the Arctic,” said Met Office forecaster Craig Snell on Sunday.
“We’re going to experience our first fall chill of the year in the middle of the week. It will result in daytime highs in the mid-teens and nighttime lows for some of us in the low to mid-single digits. Over the weekend, the agency issued a yellow weather warning for a large portion of the nation, and thunderstorms kept many Londoners awake well into Sunday morning.
At Gatwick, several of British Airways flights were canceled due to severe weather.”While some sunshine is likely to develop in the southeast on Sunday, further slow-moving thunderstorms are likely,” the Met Office stated in a statement.
“This yellow warning is in effect until 6 p.m. on Sunday. If there is increased confidence that impacts will occur, additional warning updates, including a more localized escalation to amber, may be issued during that time.” The weather service also stated that the prediction is still “unsettled” and that “fresher” and “cooler” temperatures may be felt as the week goes on.
